Journeys will be provided to a minimum of 125 low income at-risk youth in 2009. The adventure education program fosters self-esteem, healthy lifestyle choices, and community involvement in at-risk youth. The Foundation grant will help Journeys train and consult with five partner organizations to design and implement the program.
